About Me
My purpose in creating this website is to help guide people in making residual income with an internet business. Why? Simple. Like many people, I have always wanted to be financially free. I learned early on that in order to get to that level and actually be young enough to enjoy it, I either had to accumulate a ton of money in a short period of time, or make residual income.
My Many Failures
I tried a bunch of things and lost money left and right. I bought into empty promises of quick riches. I tried real estate investing, selling stuff online, stocks, and a slew of other things. It’s not that none of these things work, they just didn’t work for me. On top of that, the “programs” and “ebooks” that I bought that were supposed to show me how to make money simply didn’t work. When I get into things, I give it all I got but you can’t be successful no matter how hard you try if you’re doing the wrong things.
Almost 10 years went by and I found myself in the same place financially. Actually, I was worse off because I now had all this debt from investing into things that didn’t work. I was young, ignorant, and impatient and that caused me to make stupid decisions. I remember feeling totally hopeless. My dreams of financial independence became just that, a mere dream.
The money I lost was nothing compared to what failing over and over caused me to believe, that being financially free was something only reserved for the lucky and that for someone like me, it was impossible. I mentally beat myself up to the point where I just gave up. I got into the mentality that life is just about surviving. It was about trading in time for money until you realize you’re too old to do anything with that money. From there, you just wait until the day you give your last breath.
I would look at my friends and other people my age and saw that most of them or much more successful than I was. They had nice paying jobs, drove nice cars, traveled, and just generally seemed to be happy although they did complain about their jobs every now and then. I looked at my own life and saw that I really didn’t have much. I drove a hand-me-down car, had a dead end job, and didn’t feel very significant in any way. I was someone who no one would want to emulate or look up to.
My Realization
Although I have tried to achieve financial freedom for years, I didn’t even achieve in making ONE measly dollar in true residual income. My definition of residual income is money that will come in even if you stop trading your time. The only residual income I had was the interest from my savings account which was about $5 a month. Yeepee.
I kept thinking to myself, “If I can just make $1 a day in residual income, then I will once again believe that being financially independent is possible for me.”
The thinking was if I can make just $1 a day in residual income, then all I would have to do is repeat what I did and it’d be just a matter of time until I made $2 a day. Once I reach that point, I can go for $5 day, then $10 a day, then $20 a day, and so on. If I could get to an amount that is greater than my expenses, I can be free. Of course, at the time when I was thinking this, the thought of making just $1 a day didn’t seem likely let alone $5 or even $10 a day. Forget about $100 a day in residual income.
So instead of going for the big bucks like I did in the past and end up failing miserably, I just focused on achieving my goal of financial independence through residual income $1 at a time.
The Day Finally Came
To make a long story shorter, I ended up choosing the internet as my path towards making that lucrative $1 a day. The reason was simple. I didn’t have enough money to start any businesses, I didn’t have enough time since I was working full-time at the time, and I wanted to do something where I can work from anywhere in the world with just a computer. I didn’t like the idea of having to stay where you are just because that’s where your job is so creating an internet business was perfect for me.
What I really wanted more than anything else was a lifestyle where I got to do what I loved without having to stress over money. I wanted to contribute and make some sort of a difference through my line of work and I knew I would have a lot more options if I wasn’t bounded by a typical job.
Ah Yes, The Scams
Let me tell something you probably already know. Over 90% of the crap on the internet about making money online are scams. The scary part is that there is a handful of programs out there that aren’t really scams but they also won’t make you any money and are being sold by “gurus” who have a massive following of people. The thought is: If everyone is doing it then it must be good right? Right? Yeah, that’s why 99% of the people out there fail to make any decent income online.
No one likes to feel like they’ve been conned. It’s embarrassing. Almost every business venture I get into, I try to keep my mouth shut about it simply because I was afraid that if I failed, I would look foolish. Not exactly the best mindset to have if you want to be successful by the way but I just dreaded people asking me, “So how’s that one business thing you’re doing going?” Coming up with some lame excuse for why I wasn’t making money yet was getting old.
On top of that, the people in my life that should’ve been supportive weren’t. Whether it’s your spouse who thinks making money with an internet business is stupid or family and friends who think you’re getting scammed, their lack of belief in you definitely makes this journey harder. However, it also makes reaching ultimate goal a lot sweeter as well.
My Increasing Success with an Internet Business
Finding something real out of all of the fakes out there can be hard. For me, I was a bit lucky. I stumbled upon a method that actually worked early in my online venture. There was no hype and promises of quick riches and after some research, I decided to give it a go. It required a lot of work which I actually like.
Nothing worthwhile in life will come without hard work folks. And if it does, it can easily go. It took me nearly 10 years to figure this out even though it’s so obvious. So I worked and worked until the day finally came.
The day that I made my first dollar in residual income online… I just don’t know how to put it into words. At first I couldn’t believe it. I just sat there looking at my computer screen for a while. I thought it had to be a fluke until I experienced my 2nd day of making $1.
The dreams, goals, and the belief that I once had in myself all started to slowly wake up inside of me. I know it sounds stupid and even embarrassing but even though it was just $1, it meant the world to me. It meant that it was still possible for me to experience life the way I had always wanted. I read and heard about stories of people succeeding all the time but even though it was just a minor achievement, it gave me back something that all of those years of failing took away from me; it gave me hope.
Although that first $1 was over year ago, I remember it as if it was yesterday.
My Purpose
My goal of this site is just help you realize that trading your time for money for the rest of your life is only going to rob you of experiencing what life really has to offer. The older you get, the more you will realize how precious time is. People will trade everything they own just for a little bit more time.
If you’re not working on building residual income each and every day, then either you don’t know how to or you don’t realize the power of residual income and how it can change your life forever. I’m not talking about having fancy cars, living in a mansion, flying in a private jet or any of those things. I’m simply talking about time and financial freedom. Having one or the other is common. Either you make bank but have no time or you have plenty of time but have no money to really do anything.
