For those of relying on your 401k as your main retirement planning strategy, you might want to watch this video. The main message is that you can’t rely on outside “help”. If you want to be financially independent and retire comfortably, you’re going to have to take matters into your own hands by planning ahead and focusing your efforts on the right types of income (i.e. working income (trading time for money) sucks, residual income rules).
